Local children fight rare, terminal disease; family tries to help find a cureI was fortunate to be able to share this family's heart-wrenching story for the first time. After hearing about multiple sulfatase deficiency, an ultra-rare genetic disorder that affects 1 per million individuals worldwide, and two local children who had MSD, I knew I needed to reach out to the family.
